Early History
Its late Chief Executive Officer, Marlin Maddoux, founded the USA Radio Network in 1985. Mr. Maddoux had hosted his own local conservative/Christian news talk program, Point of View, in Dallas Texas since 1972. Taking advantage of then recent developments in satellite technologies, in 1982 the program began broadcasting nationwide on the Satellite Radio Network.

Marlin Maddoux was inducted into the National Religious Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2007.
