awards and has been recognized over the years by the Associated
Press, United Press International and the Press Club of Dallas --

11-16-2001, two months after 9-11. USA also won the Best Major Market
Newscast Katie at the recent 2004 ceremony for the June 11, 2003

on the Board of Directors and was recently elected to a third term)
and the Radio-TV News Director's Association. Bob also served on
the Board of Directors of the Texas AP Broadcasters Association.
Bob comments on winning awards: "As Psalm 115 suggests, these
little statues mean nothing compared to our sovereign God
almighty -- Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Yeshua the Messiah)
-- to whom we give all the praise and glory for any success we enjoy
-- but it's good to assure our affiliates and listeners that there
are no finer quality newscasts being done than right here at USA
Radio Network!"
Morrison
is a current member of the Board of Directors of the Press Club
of Dallas and is a past member and officer of the Texas Associated
Press Broadcasters Board of Directors.
Judy Hydock, Assistant News Director
Judy is USA's Assistant News Director, a position she
has held for the last 4 years. During close to a decade in radio,
Judy has spent most of that time at USA, working her way up from
part-timer on the weekend News Desk, to Producer and then Senior
News Producer before attaining her current position. Judy is also
one of the executive producers of the USA Radio Network news program
NewsWrap USA which was awarded the prestigious Katie award from
the Dallas Press Club for "Best Major Market Newscast".
When USA won the Best Major Market Newscast Katie in two of the

for the June 11, 2003 edition of NewsWrapUSA, with Judy joining
News Director Bob Morrison as co-Executive Producer.
John
Scott, Anchor
John
anchors morning drive newscasts on USA. He brings to the microphone
nearly 25 years of experience as both a radio and TV news anchor
-- and one of the world's finest voices in richness, depth and smooth
delivery -- to his position here. His resume ranges from local to
network newsrooms: from Sherman, Texas to major market stations
WBAP and KPLX in Dallas-Ft. Worth; the Texas State Network; The
Kansas Information Network; and he anchored the 6 and 10pm newscasts
at KOSA-TV in Midland/Odessa – and he joined us here as part
of the USA family 5 years ago.
Allen
Stone, Anchor
Another award-winning broadcast journalist, Allen anchors
mid-day newscasts and afternoon sportscasts on USA. In a career
that spans three decades -- just beginning his fourth -- Allen Stone
has done it all in radio/TV -- and that includes winning the broadcast
journalism equivalent of the Pulitzer prize: The duPont-Columbia
University Award. His resume includes strong news credentials, working
for the CBS owned all-news powerhouse in Dallas, KRLD and, at the
time, NBC News affiliate WRR-AM. He's been in media management at
America One Television, Business Talk Radio Network, Talk Productions
and Prime Sports Radio Network. People all over Dallas-Ft.Worth
still recognize Allen after his years as sports anchor for Channel
4/KDFW-TV (which, at the time, was a CBS affiliate). For several
years, Allen also served as Director of Broadcasting for the Dallas
Mavericks NBA team, airing programs on KXAS-TV, WFAA-TV, KTVT-TV
and Home Sports Entertainment (cable). He's done extensive voice
work and still works with SMU basketball from time to time. Allen
was part of the team winning a duPont award -- announced Thursday
2 December 2004 -- for a special broadcast on the 40th anniversary
of the Nov. 22, 1963, Kennedy assassination. Very few broadcast
journalist ever win the duPont. In 2004, there were only 13 winners
from entries submitted by broadcast journalists around the United
States.
Charlie
Butts, Religion Editor
Charlie has, likewise, been a radio newsman for some
40 years, the past 10 here at USA. From his humble beginnings at
KWHP in Edmund, Oklahoma -- where the studio was in the station
owner's garage and the transmitter was in the bedroom -- Charlie's
career has ranged from local to network news. He was News Director
at the award-winning and legendary station, KFJZ AM in Fort Worth.
He also anchored newscasts at The Texas State Network before joining
USA. Charlie is currently our Religion Editor. Charlie's unit makes
sure we have excellent coverage of the latest Christian Interest
News.
Jason
Walker, Anchor
Jason
is our “beacon in the night.” And, would you believe
he LOVES anchoring the “graveyard shift” (which, actually,
shows up as drive-time in other parts of the world served by the
USA Radio Network via U.S. Armed Forces Network radio).
Jason began his broadcasting career as a 17 year old U-S Marine with Armed Forces Radio & TV on Okinawa in the late 60's.
Over the years, he has worked at a number of locales, including Dallas powerhouse stations KLUV, KLIF, KBOX and WBAP
during a career spanning the decades from 1969-2001.
Connie
Lawn, Washington Correspondent
Connie is our White House Correspondent.
In fact, after the infamous Helen Thomas -- who does not do daily reporting --
Connie is the Senior White House correspondent.
In a career that has included authoring a book (“You Wake Me Each Morning”),
she has excellently and faithfully reported on what are now four
U.S. Presidential administrations for the USA Radio Network.
Ray
Canevari, Sports Anchor

last 7 of his 16-year broadcasting career. Also for 7 years, he's

an unparalleled knowledge of sports -- presenting network radio's
only 24 hour a day, 7 day a week sportscast schedule.
