of View Radio Talk Show is
a two-hour, issues-oriented live talk radio program heard daily
attracting loyal listenersnationwide. Hosts Kerby
Anderson, Carmen Pate
and the Point of View team cover the full spectrum of issues and current
events that affect our faith, family, government, education, and basic
freedoms from a Christian perspective. Point of View’s loyal listening audience

Kerby
Anderson is the President of Probe Ministries in Richardson,
Texas. Probe exists to teach people to love God with their minds
and equip them to defend their faith. One of the programs is Mind
Games, developed to prepare high school students to enter college
with a solid foundation regarding Christian beliefs. Such topics
as evolution, ethics and apologetics are covered in this series.
As a distinguished speaker, Kerby has lectured on university campuses
around the country and is a visiting professor at Dallas Theological
Seminary, Philadelphia College of the Bible, and Temple Baptist
Seminary. His books include Fossils in Focus (1977), Life, Death
and Beyond (1980), Genetic Engineering (1982), Origin Science (1987),
Living Ethically in the 90s (1990), Signs of Warning, Signs of
Hope
(1994), and Moral Dilemmas (1998). His editorials have appeared
in the Dallas Morning News, the Miami Herald, the San Jose Mercury
and the Houston Post.
Kerby has served as host of “NewsTalk” and the “Kerby
Anderson Show” and as a guest host on the radio talk shows
“Point of View” and “Open Line”. In addition,
he has appeared on numerous radio and TV talk shows including the
“MacNeil/Lehrer News Hour,” “Focus on the Family,”
“Beverly LaHaye Live,” and “The 700 Club”.
Mr. Anderson received his undergraduate degree in Zoology at Oregon
State University, a M.F.S. in Science at Yale University, and a
M.A. in Government at Georgetown University. He and his wife, Suzanne,
reside in Dallas Texas and they have three children.
Carmen Pate recently joined the Point of View team, bringing with her
years of experience in dealing with contemporary issues. In her
ongoing work with hunger relief efforts, pro-life issues, and
her former role as President of Concerned Women for America,
Carmen has persistently infused Biblical principles into the
American culture.
John
Clemens spent 25 years in secular radio and TV before
entering Christian radio broadcasting. John began working
with Marlin
Maddoux at Point of View in 1983 when he answered a calling
to report news of interest to conservative Christian radio
listeners.
Besides his work on Point of View, John has also worked as
a sports announcer for the Durham Bulls, Rochester Red Wings,
Tulsa
Drillers and in the American Basketball Association for the
Texas Tycoons. He also worked for the Dallas Sidekicks of
the Major
Indoor Soccer League.
