In the book A Message for the President, Baxter said the Berlin Wall would come down, East and West Germany would be reunited, and that these events would launch the New World Order. The book was published in 1986. The Wall came down three years later in 1989. Within twenty days of the fall of the wall, Mikhail Gorbachev, Pope John Paul II and President George Herbert Walker Bush met together. They came out of those meetings announcing the birth of the New World Order.
