Marlin Maddoux inducted to NRB’s Hall of Fame.
Marlin Maddoux was a true pioneer in Christian radio. He was on the air for over 30 years, beginning in 1972, as the host of Point of View Radio Talk Show. Through his warm, homespun style he brought amazing insight to the critical issues facing our nation.
His was the first Christian program to be broadcast live on satellite and the first program of any kind to stream live over the internet.Although he came from humble beginnings, in addition to being a successful talk show host, Marlin built his own news network. Under his leadership, USA Radio Network
grew to provide news and programming to more than 1300 American stations as well as the Armed Forces Radio worldwide. This award is presented posthumously.
