To reprogram your Wegener Unity 4000 follow these steps.
Service ID's on the Wegener Unity 4000 have changed. If your receiver did not pick up the changes automatically, you will have to make the changes manually.
Recycle the receivers power.
On your Wegener Unity 4000:
Using the left arrow scroll until you find "AUDIO SETTINGS" on the display, then press SELECT.
Scroll left to find "DETAILED SETTINGS" then press SELECT.
Scroll right to the "PORT" you want to change.
You should now see SRVC on the bottom left of your display window. press SELECT then use the up/down arrows until you find the correct service ID. IRN is now "IU1"
US1 is now "IU2"
US2 is now "IU3"
US3 is now "IU4"
Then press ENTER Your receiver should now be set correctly. The USA Radio Network distributes its programming to the 48 contiguous states including Alaska, Hawaii and the Caribbean via the latest in digital satellite technology and world wide via the Armed Forces Radio Network. The USA Radio Network holds 3 satellite channels, which are operational 24 hours a day. The first channel is located aboard the SES Americoms AMC-8 Satellite located at 139° West longitude and utilizes the StarGuide Satellite Transmission System. This channel is obtained through ABC Satellite Services.

The remaining two channels are aboard the SES Americoms AMC-3 Satellite located at 87° west longitude and utilizes a DVB MPEG-2 Compliant technology. These channels are obtained through Microspace Communications Corporation.

Hardware Requirements:
AMC-8:
Receiver: StarGuide III (ABC New York)
Dish: 3.1-3.8 meter (10-12 feet) Solid (recommended)
LNB: Digital Ready, PLL, <25°.

AMC-3:
Receiver: Wegener Unity 4000
Sat Cruiser (Installation Guide)
Dish: 3.1-3.8 meter (10-12 feet) Solid (recommended)
LNB: Digital Ready, PLL, <25°.
